Biography

Vhyra entered a world of intrigue from the moment of her birth as the illegitimate daughter of an upper-city nobleman and a young courtesan.

After her mother's untimely demise, Vhyra was sent to a secluded institution by her father. Determined to break free, she escaped to the streets of Baldur's Gate, where she discovered that knowledge was her only invulnerable possession.

During her teenage years, Vhyra found herself under the protection of a hag who ran a gang of children. In exchange for her thieving skills, the hag provided them with protection. It was during this time that Vhyra honed her skills as a street thief, learning the basics of deception and survival. However, her life took a dangerous turn when she stole from an important Guild member who sought her demise. Realizing the gravity of her actions, Vhyra made the decision to flee Baldur's Gate, seeking refuge in another city.

In her early thirties, Vhyra's life took a daring turn when she pickpocketed a member of the shadow thieves, earning her mentorship under a renowned deep gnome vault-breaker. Her skills as a thief evolved, and she found love with Keil, a charismatic black-haired high-elf. Their romance culminated in a drunken marriage ceremony officiated by a pirate captain, leading to blissful months of adventures and heists.

The turning point arrived during a grand heist to pilfer a secret Zhentarim vault hidden in the abandoned sewers. As a wizard, Keil's role was to provide magical portals for their escape. However, chaos erupted when the group triggered a silent alarm. In a shocking betrayal, Keil abandoned Vhyra and their mentor, leaving them captive to the Zentharim. Vhyra's mentor suffered a brutal demise, a trauma that would haunt her for years.

Facing captivity and torture, Vhyra used her wit and resourcefulness to navigate a treacherous path to freedom. She was forced to leverage her intelligence and, reluctantly, her body to escape the clutches of her captors. This dark chapter in her life left a lasting impact, shaping her approach to love and intimacy. Since, she became an elite thief working for high-profile clients, specializing in infiltration and stealing from the elite.
